    How does it work?

    Our products are inhalers, meaning that you inhale the oil vapors through your nose (and not by ingesting them or putting them on your skin). We’ve created a handy personal diffuser that twists open, revealing a gap between the top and base. Place this gap under your nose and inhale deeply. Easy as that.

    How long does the product last?

    Each tube lasts up to 6 months of regular use. The quicktabs last up to 72 hours

    Do you test on animals?

    Absolutely not! Soothing Scents products are 100% cruelty-free and not tested on animals.

    Where do you source your essential oils?

    That’s our secret, but we will tell you that we spent almost a year conducting research and sourcing suppliers who produced exceptional oils and worked to the ethical standards we adhere to.

    I have allergies. Can I use Soothing Scents?

    Thankfully, allergic reactions to inhaled essential oils are extremely rare. The liquid form of essential oils have been known to cause skin irritation, but the inhalation of essential oil vapor has an undisputed safety record throughout the world. Unless you are allergic to the specific essential oils used, it should be entirely safe.

    I’m pregnant, is it safe?

    Yes! No data exists that links inhaling low ambient concentrations of the essential oils in any of our products with any adverse outcomes of pregnancy, such as fetal abnormalities or miscarriage. The essential oils in both Expecting and QueaseEASE are among the safest and most commonly used in the world, found in items such as candy, toothpaste, body lotions, perfumes, and soaps. Women who are at any stage of pregnancy can confidently use our pure essential oil products, knowing they are safer than smelling a flower.


    I have a medical condition / am taking other medication. Can I still use Soothing Scents products? Will it interfere with medication?

    No. Soothing Scents products won’t interfere with any other medication, and safe to use for people with conditions like pregnancy, or going through radiation and chemotherapy.

    Where does Soothing Scents ship?

    We ship to 50 states in the US. We also ship to the UK, with more destinations coming in mid-2017


    How much does it cost to ship?

    It depends on where you are and what you want.

    We provide free standard shipping on all orders over $17 within the US. We’ll process your order within 24 hours (or 1 businss day) and send you a tracking order.  You can expect it in 4-5 business days.

    We do offer expedited shipping, as well as shipping to the UK (you can find it in your checkout options), but do note that these options will incur extra costs, which will be calculated in checkout.

    How can I pay for my things?

    We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express and PayPal. You’ll find all these options in checkout.

    I’m not happy with my purchase. Can I get a refund?

    At Soothing Scents, your satisfaction with our products and service is so, so important to us.  If anything you purchase fails to meet your expectations in any way, just let us know and we’ll refund your money right away. Please visit our contact page and let us know, and we’ll take it from there.

    I need to return/exchange an item. What’s your return policy?

    No problem! All we ask is that you please return within 30 days of purchase and just make sure it’s in like-new condition, with the original packaging.

    To begin processing a return, request a “return authorization” by calling 1-888-393-7330. You’ll receive an email that will notify you when your return has been received and inspected. If it all looks good, credit will be returned by credit card or original payment method as soon as possible.  Some refunds take longer than others to appear in your account.

    Are Soothing Scents products FDA approved?
    Because QueaseEASE is not a drug, it does not have to be controlled or dispensed by the pharmacy. The essential oils in QueaseEASE are recognized by the FDA as safe to consume, requiring no additional regulation or classification when inhaled. QueaseEASE is simply regarded as a supply item such as an alcohol prep pad or an emesis basin.
